A flurry of activity yesterday with the group allmost synchronously posting.
The idea of being a little more questioning about intuitive practice was posted by Chris and mark coined the useful phrase 'critically assertive' questioning. Keith once again tries to draw on these points and set up a question about how intuitive measures success. I post about the reader for this session as I think it is very relevant to our general brainstorm and could be used to form some questions.
I wonder does the images I post and graphics break up the post and also attract attention? Do they also help with the socialisation phase of this group? They are perhaps tools to aid this as imagery is a powerful and sometimes underestimated thing. Again Preece points to the idea of co-presence. I was using a virtual world last night called Active world. I became a man in an Hawaiian shirt ( a tourist because I had not officially joined up) I could move about the world enter others and talk (text chat) to others who I could move to and see. I could even make by avatar ( a representation of me) dance , wave and blow kisses. It felt odd but helped me to establish 'grounding' (Preece 156-160) within the environment quickly.

No posts today so far. I expect that some people may have gone away for half term. Also there is a point about how much I use the internet compared to others. I use it constantly at work and at home. Does this mean I have no life?:)

The session started with Yvonne and Christina making posts to close the last session task and start the new. We were told that Bob hart of Intuitive media would be our interviewee. I stated a slightly controversial post off by saying that intuitive work did not have much to do with the type of community we were trying to build in the GCT area. How would bob and intuitive approach this brief?
Keith who is co-ordinating this session made a good introductory post by focusing us on the brief for the session, which was about important broad banded issues of interface and management. Keith tries to sum ideas made by myself and refocus these within the brief to ask a pertinent question.
Keith asks the group foe suggestions for the way forward whilst making one himself about summary. Nobody else has posted yet.
